IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE
We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in wellness services has rewards for both pets and owners. Our wellness services are designed specifically for your pet and include: comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heart-worm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter ; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. We have an onsite laboratory for many routine blood and urine tests as well as the option of sending samples to our outside laboratory for more advanced screenings.
NEW PUPPY AND KITTEN EXAMS
Did you just become the proud new owner of a puppy or kitten? As long as your new pet is healthy, you can call us for a complimentary exam. Should your new baby need any vaccines or other medications such as a dewormer, those items could be the only thing you would pay for. Plus, we'll send you home with some freebies like their first month of flea treatment, and some samples of food, as our supplies last.
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. With our new online registration process, your pertinent information is immediately sent to their data base, and your pet is instantly protected with a registered microchip as soon as you leave our office. No more waiting for your information to be mailed, and no more delays in protecting your pet!
Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
Unfortunately, behavioral disorders, such as inappropriate soiling, separation anxiety, barking and obsessive behavior are common among our pets. These illnesses may or may not have a physical cause. Our veterinarian can help determine the cause and then develop a treatment regimen for the owner. When necessary, we can consult with and/or refer the patient to a board certified veterinary behavioral specialist or pet trainer.

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth as well as their overall health. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly, both above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. As an added bonus, your pet will come home with fresher smelling breath!
Acupuncture may be defined as the insertion of needles into specific points on the animals body to produce a healing response. Each acupuncture point has specific actions when stimulated. It can be helpful when treating problems such as musculoskeletal conditions like arthritis, intervertebral disk disease or traumatic nerve injury. It's also useful in other areas such as asthma; skin issues like lick granulomas and allergic dermatitis, and gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea.

Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. After hours,we use the services of a fully staffed, off premises, emergency center.

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. Buying your pets prescription medications, dietary supplements and flea control products from us insures that you are getting genuine products, and not a "knock off" drug that could be potentially harmful to your pet.
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. We offer several levels of pain management, from the pet who has just experienced surgery, to the companion who has chronic pain.
PRESCRIPTION & NON-PRESCRIPTION FOODS
We carry a wide variety of name brand prescription and non-prescription foods by Science Diet, Purina, Royal Canin and Eukanuba. If we don't have the type of food you need, we can do a custom order from any of these brands to take care of your pets special dietary needs.
Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. We offer on-site x-rays and developing to help in assessing your pets ailments. OFA certification x-rays are also available for breeders seeking those services.
This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Our ultrasound veterinarian comes to our site and performs ultrasounds and interpretation on your pet.
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client with the option of receiving your pet's ashes back if you wish.
